VISION AND MISSION

​In accordance with the general objectives of the Local Self Government Department of Kerala, the Vision and Mission of Paruthur Grama Panchayat, located in Pattambi Taluk of Palakkad district, are based on key goals aimed at transforming it into a model village. ​To ensure a high quality of life and equal justice for all citizens of Paruthur Grama Panchayat through sustainable, comprehensive development and excellent governance.

  • ​Clean Village: Creating a waste-free, green, and eco-friendly environment for the public.
  • ​Transparent Governance: Implementing E-governance systems to provide services to the public swiftly and transparently.

​2. Mission

​To turn this vision into reality, the Panchayat focuses on the following key areas:

​Agricultural Upliftment and Infrastructure

  • ​Improving irrigation facilities and promoting farming, leveraging the geographical advantage of being located on the banks of the Bharathapuzha River.
  • ​Equitably developing basic infrastructure—such as roads, drinking water projects, and streetlights—across all wards.

​Health, Education, and Social Welfare

  • ​Ensuring quality education by upgrading the physical infrastructure and facilities of the schools within the Panchayat.
  • ​Providing quality medical and healthcare facilities to citizens through Primary Health Centres.
  • ​Delivering housing to the homeless through initiatives like the Life Mission project, and ensuring welfare schemes reach marginalized communities.

​Waste Management and Environmental Protection

  • ​Strengthening the operations of the Haritha Karma Sena to efficiently collect and process non-biodegradable waste from households and establishments.
